Hello,
Well, I was able to create a simple ASP test app that encrypted then decrypted a string. There seems to be a permissions problem when dealing with executing CryptoApi methods. I just changed the anonymous user to be the admin. That was simply to see if VBCorLib cryptography could work. I'm sure a much smarter person can set permissions correctly.
I did have to create a 2nd dll that would convert a variant that contains a byte array to an explicit byte array so I could pass things into the crypto methods. I may add such functionality to VBCorLib to make it a bit more ASP friendly.

Hello, I've created a helper dll to make it easier to use VBCorLib from within a classic ASP web page. You can download the helper project from sourceforge.net/projects/vbcorlib. I hope this will help you with some of your problems. Kelly
