Hi!
Thanks for sharing this exciting project!
I get some Errors and Failures running the VBCorLibTests. Are these known issues or would some detailed info be helpful?

Hello,
Yes, some more information will help me pin-point the problems. Primarily which tests and what does each error say in the output?
Thank you!

Here is the output from SimplyVBUnit: TestDirectoryInfo.TestAttributes: expected <8208>, but was <48> TestTimeZone.TestDayLightChanges2003: TestTimeZone.TestDayLightName: expected <Pacific Daylight Time>, but was <W. Obviously the date time entries related functions are no real failures - phew . Alex

Hello,
Yes, you are correct in saying the time failures aren't really failures. All of those failures are because of regional settings versus my hardcoded test values. Those failures should indeed have happened and are correct. You are appearently +1 hour from GMT, so I switched to a region there (German), and got the same result. It's all timezone offset, formatting, and parsing issues, such as a Comma is used instead of a Period. That aside, those 'incorrect' results should be correct by your viewing.
The DirectoryInfo.GetAttributes test is me thinking the folder would maintain the same attributes across platforms (doh). That test is saying that the folder is a Directory and the Archive bit is set, unlike on my version of the folder... So, if you'd like you could change the 8208 to 16 and just AND the result with 16. Then atleast it will test for a directory.
I hope this helps, thank you! Kelly

Can I ask what OS you are running?

I'm running XP SP2. Sorry for wasting your time. I should have looked at this myself before posting. On the other hand the forum is still not busy enough . Alex

Only I can waste my time heh
As far as you getting a short filename, I can only assume that is just something that your system did. The test is still correct, even with the failure. So far everthing is normal.
And ya, an empty board it is. But that's ok. If it helps people, then I'm happy ;D
